Make the Commitment to Excellence in Clinical Practice and Cardiac Research
The Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship program at the Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine offers an unparalleled clinical education experience that equips our fellows with the detailed knowledge, skills, and tools needed to become fully trained, credentialed clinical cardiologists.
Our three-year program boasts a 95% Cardiovascular board pass rate for first-time takers — almost 20 percentage points higher than the national average. Our fellows can also pursue intensive review within our program for Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology board certifications.
Our Cardiovascular Disease Fellows are immersed in an advanced, multi-disciplinary clinical environment, where we are committed to providing innovative diagnostic algorithms in treatment options to our patients. Our clinicians collaborate with all subspecialties to optimize patient care. And our facilities feature the most advanced imaging technology, state-of-the-art interventional procedure rooms, and superbly equipped inpatient and outpatient facilities.
Clinical partners of the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship program include Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Camden and Burlington, New Jersey, as well as the Kennedy Health System; all offer significant clinical patient care exposure for our fellows.
From world-renowned lecturers to a choice of annual conferences; from hands-on device interrogation to extensive clinical practice; from foundational concepts to cutting-edge breakthroughs, our fellows are immersed in a rich and rigorous journey to become the next leaders in cardiovascular medicine
